Winter Blanket Distribution in North India
Bringing Warmth and Dignity Through the Winter Relief program
The Story Behind This Campaign
For poor families in North and eastern india, winter can be especially difficult. Many elderly people, widows, orphans, and other struggling families face the cold harsh reality of winter without warm clothing or blankets. For a widow thats just trying to care for her children, to an elderly man with no one to care for him at all, a warm blanket can mean a safe and comfortable night.
Throughout Crescent Foundation’s 2025 Winter Relief Program, we provided warms blankets and winter clothing to 5,342 families. We prioritized elderly people, widows, orphans, and families with sever financial hardship. We also gave 3,000+ students winter jackets, helping the children stay warm so they could continue attending school during the coldest months.
To privileged people like us, a blanket may not seem all that important. However, to someone facing the winter without one it means so much. Warmth, dignity, comfort, and most importantly knowledge that someone cares.
Help us bring warmth to those who need it most, one family, one child, and one blanket at a time.
