From a Remote Village to a School of Medicine

Khusbhur’s journey began in Murshidabad, where Crescent Foundation recognized his potential and gave him the opportunity to pursue his dreams. Through the years of dedication, mentorship, and unwavering hard work, that potential blossomed into remarkable success. Growing up, Khusbhur and his family lived in a modest one-room home with an outdoor kitchen. His father, a farmer, worked tirelessly as the families primary source of income. Because of his families financial circumstances, Khusbhur was awarded a full scholarship through Crescent Foundation giving him the opportunity to continue his education without the burden of financial barriers. Despite the challenging state he grew up in, Khusbhur never gave up and was determined to excel in his education make his dream of improving his life come true. Alhamdulillah, with the academic and full financial support of Crescent Foundation and Khushbur’s own perseverance and effort, his dreams became a reality. Today he is pursuing a medicinal degree in a Medical University in West Bengal. This marks not only a personal achievement, but a generational milestone for him and his family. His story is a reminder to all of us that with hard work, dedication, and most importantly opportunity, brilliant minds can rise above even the most difficult circumstances, and not only change one life, but the lives of generations to come. Khusbhur is one of many whose lives have been transformed through Crescent Foundation. Every year approximately five students like Khusbhur earn admission to medical collages, turning their dreams into reality through hard work and the oppurtunities made possible through your support. Coming from very humble beginnings, and becoming someone with a better chance at achieving greatness. With your help, we can create more inspiring stories just like Khusbhur.
