Empowering Women, Strengthening FamiliesMany of the women enrolled in Crescent tailoring program are widows or come from economically disadvantaged families. With no stable source of income, or work on unhealthy environment they often struggled to provide for their children and meet basic household needs.Through Crescent Foundation's Women's & Widows Tailoring School, they receive practical vocational training for a year, confidence, and the opportunity to earn a sustainable livelihood. Many graduates are now stitching garments from home, taking local orders, or supporting nearby tailoring shops, allowing them to contribute to their family's income while caring for their children.For these women, learning to sew is more than acquiring a skill—it is a journey toward dignity, confidence, and financial independence.
